January 22: Erin Muscutt “Fossilized Plants that Still Exist Today”

erin muscuttErin Muscutt has been professionally gardening for 25 years.  She graduated from Durham College with a diploma in General Arts & Science.  Later she attended Humber College where she attained 2 certificates and licenses in:  Horticulturist Landscape / Greenskeeper, & Horticulturist Nursery / Greenhouse.  As well she is a licensed Horticultural Technician.   Through Arboriculture Canada Erin holds certifications in:  Tree Dynamics & Integrated Risk Assessment, Technical Tree Falling & Cutting in the Urban Forest, and Hazard & Danger Tree Cutting & Falling.  Erin has operated her own business, and has worked for Sheridan Nurseries & Cullen Gardens & Miniature Village. Currently Erin’s job has shifted inside working on cabinet making / wood working and furniture repair along with other mechanical repairs.  The most recent venture Erin has started is a part-time business selling tubers and seeds under the name “Muscutt Seeds”.  Erin will be selling her seeds at Seedy Sunday on March 15 and at the Bobcaygeon Garden Tour.
