Bus Trip RBG 2025

Tuesday September 16, 2025; 8am-5pm: 44 person activity bus from Hamilton Buslines — $110 BYO lunch

Note that this trip does involve a lot of walking, much of it on uneven ground. It may not be suitable for all members. While the bus does not have a bathroom, there are facilities at both of our stops.

To Bring: Lunch if you are bringing your own, a labelled tote if you are buying plants.

Note that on and after September 1, 2025 any cancellations received will not be refunded but will instead be considered a donation to our scholarship fund and will be receipted for tax purposes. Of course, you can also find a replacement for your ticket.

8am depart Westdale United Church, 1509 Sherbrooke St, Peterborough and travel via Hwy 407 to avoid traffic.

10am Arrive at Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington for Fleurs de Villes: Downton Abbey

12:30pm Leave RBG Burlington for Northland Nursery, Millgrove, arrival 1pm

LUNCH: Box Lunches were ordered for those registering before September 1st. Anyone registering after that date is encouraged to bring their own!

Northland Nursery: We are a family run nursery located in Millgrove, Ontario. Our passion is plants. From seeding  and cuttings to transplanting and growing we love to do it all, right here on the farm. We strive to have a huge ever changing selection of unique and interesting plants.  
 
With  over 150,000 flowering shrubs, perennials, daylilies, ornamental grasses, hostas, shrub roses, clematis, vines, hardy lilies and evergreens we have the largest selection of any garden centre around. All of our plants are ready for your garden in 1 gallon nursery containers and priced at $9.99 each.  

3pm Leave Northland Nursery and travel via Hwy 407 to avoid traffic.

5pm Arrive Westdale United Church, Peterborough.
