Join us in welcoming James Kamstra to our stage on October 30 at 7pm. James will be speaking to us about “Moths, the Butterflies of the Night”.
James is an ecologist and environmental consultant who has been working on environmental impact studies and biophysical inventories for more than 30 years. He has been an active field naturalist for even longer, particularly interested in birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and vascular plants. In the 1980s, James spent a year in Belize doing research for his Master’s thesis, and spent 10 years on the Committee on the Status of Species at Risk in Ontario (COSSARO). He has led ecotours to various destinations in Latin America.
(Our previously booked speaker couldn’t join us in person. We are very thankful James was available to join us and are looking forward to an engaging talk. Thank you, James!)
