June 26, 2024: Ryan Vieira, Our Little Worm Farm “Vermicomposting”

Join us in welcoming Ryan Vieira from Our Little Worm Farm to our stage on June 26th.  Ryan will be speaking to us about vermicomposting, what it is, how to do it, and the benefits it produces.

Our Little Worm Farm is a small family-run worm farm located in Trent Lakes, just outside of Bobcaygeon. They raise red wiggler composting worms and design, test and manufacture their own worm bins and bokashi composting bin systems, all of which are available for purchase on their website.

Ryan became interested in composting and natural fertilizers when he started his red wiggler farm in 2019. Ryan has spoken about the benefits of vermicomposting at the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society, the Oakville Horticultural Society and the Thorold Horticulture Society.

Ryan will have red wigglers available for sale following his presentation for $10 per cup.
